100 hours of observation
50 hours of hands on teaching
Dedicated Open Studio time available

The final Test Out is a case study, with a client of your choice.  Three to six months will be given to complete this assignment.
Then, a final practical (hands-on) test out, with the client, will be completed at Integrated Movement and Wellness.

The PMA requires a 450 hour program in order to be compliant with their standards.  Total hours for the Long Beach Dance Conditioning program is 550 hours.

All sessions are 3 days
Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with 1 hour for a lunch.

Schedule is subject to change.

If any segment is missed by the student, a private make-up course must be purchased at the instructors daily rate.

The teacher training certificate will be given at the end of the course- only after the following:

1.) Attendance of all sessions have been completed.
2.) All class assignments must be completed.
3.) All financial commitments are current.
4.) All observation hours have been completed.
5.) Final approval after the Test-out process.

Continuing education is required every 2 years to keep your certificate in good standing.

At Integrated Movement and Wellness we hold teaching Pilates to a high standard. The body is fearfully and wonderfully made. When combining of the art of Pilates and the science of the body, we can start to understand how it operates at optimum. The joy of teaching these concepts to a client or student is our life’s passion.

  • This agreement is a legally binding instrument when signed by the student and accepted by Integrated Movement and Wellness for the dates listed below. Your signature on this agreement acknowledges that you have been given a reasonable amount of time to read and understand. You will be given a written/emailed copy of your registration and a catalog including a description of the course including all material concerning the teacher training and the course of instruction. In order to receive your certificate of completion, tuition must be paid in full, all course work requirements and test out successfully completed, plus 100% attendance is required. The course is intended to be taken in the order as it is laid out-it is not recommended to miss any portion of the training.
  • This agreement is for the: 2018 Long Beach Dance Conditioning Teacher Training Course- January to June 2018 (upon enrollment you will receive scheduled dates). *Course dates are subject to change. Total Required Course Hours : 450 (PMA compliant) (186 hours total self integration / 264 total hours coursework).
  • Registration Fee: $250 Please Select Registration Fee FIRST and add to the PayPal Cart. Next select tuition option: Full Tuition: $6400 / $6200 with $200 discount for paying in full. - Per Module- $1575 is due by the 1st day of each module = $1600 - ($25 per Module discount) - Payment Plan* (a $5 fee per transaction will be assessed- *a schedule of payments due will be provided on the first day of class- Payments can be made through credit card, cash, check or Pay Pal. You may also authorize Integrated Movement and Wellness to apply the auto payment for you).
  • If you are paying by check, your enrollment will only be valid once your check has been received and processed. If you are paying by check for the teacher training, payment must arrive prior to the beginning of each module in order to receive course materials.   • *Integrated Movement and Wellness reserves the right to cancel this course due to an insufficient number of registrants. Under these circumstances, a full refund in the form of a check will be addressed and mailed to the registered participant. Please note that Integrated Movement and Wellness is not responsible for any hotel, airline or other expenses incurred as a result of course cancellation. *Cancellations by registered participants must be dated and submitted in writing. For cancellations received 21 days or more before the course date, the registration fee will be returned less a $100 administrative fee in the form of a check mailed to the registered participant. For cancellations received within 21 days of the course, no refunds will be made. If the course is either interrupted or canceled by an act of nature, war, or any issue beyond the control of Integrated Movement and Wellness, no refund will be issued. Integrated Movement and Wellness reserves the right to change a course date, location or instructor. *As this is a binding contract, there will be no refunds once the student has started the program as his/her commitment decided whether the course was to be offered. If the student is not able to complete the program as scheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, student will be able to reinstate the program the following program. *My signature below and/or digital confirmation certifies that I have read, understood, and agreed to my rights and responsibilities, and that the institution's cancellation and refund policies have been clearly defined and explained to me.
